Story

Its impressive what detail the eye can pick up even in the smallest of spaces. Mille grain platinum work (those beaded edges) and diamonds come together to support a gorgeous 1.5 carat no heat sapphire.

Almost as if tiny rivulets of icy water have been transformed into precious metal, each side of the setting has five fingers that splay outward. These are dotted with either 4 or 5 single cut diamonds for a total diamond weight of .39 carats (H-I color, VS2-SI2 clarity).

Exquisite, these arch upward to embrace an oval faceted no-heat blue sapphire of 1.5 carats of soft ethereal coloration. The gemstone is accompanied by a Stone Group laboratory certificate.

As an engagement ring or just because its unforgettable, the ring dates to circa 1925.
