A well cut gemstone makes the difference between dull and lifeless and lively and reflective. A citrine of 7 carats elevates this Art Deco ring to one worth gazing at again and again.
Cut in a rectangular faceted cushion cut, its corners and angled. Full of facets, the colors range from rays of sun to golden fields of wheat and its size a great medium to large in scale.
Its slightly bulbous 14k gold filigree mounting is a standout. Around the sides and beneath the gallery are placed tiny openings dotted with geometric forms and half-flowers.
The shank and shoulders are 14k white gold engraved with more floral forms and a herringbone pattern.
