Giving kudos to the style of Victorian jewelry is this 10k yellow gold ring. The ornate piece features an .35 carat oval opal cabochon. The play of light shows off with a dance of hot pink, neon green and electric blue intermingling with orange streaks of fire.
The opal is framed with a bezel of textured gold and flanked by oval shields star-set (often termed gypsy set) with garnet colored paste stones. The textured surface continues with accents around the shoulders. Scrolls and bulbous forms wend their sensuous way along the sides.
