A waterfall of sapphires cascades down the front of this distinctive pendant. All in platinum, it dates to circa 1925, the Art Deco period.
Thirteen royal blue cabochon sapphires appear to glow from within. Each weighs .55 carats, with one at .45 carats for a total of 7.05 carats (average of 4.5 x 3.5 mm). Exceptional in color, while deep they flash vivid highlights.
For glimpses of scintillation, thirty three diamonds add their elegance. One old European cut and the rest rose cuts equal just over .32 carats, their color H-I, and their clarity SI1-3
Artistry is apparent from every angle, the fine mille grain (beaded edge) detail, the perfect proportions and those luscious sapphires work their magic. A platinum fine chain with barrel clasp is included.
