Story
Edwardian jewelry (circa 1890 - 1915) is known for its delicacy of style. Often reflecting what was perceived as “femininity”, these jewelers could transform precious metal and gems into forms of nature.
Designed in the guise of a floral bouquet, 6 natural freshwater baroque pearls are placed as the bloom of a pansy and another graceful flower.
Leaves of 14k yellow gold are carefully rendered with veining and gentle curves. Dotted about are twelve (12) old European cut diamonds with a total weight of .245 carats (I-J color; SI1-2 clarity) sprinkling the brooch with evanescent glitter among the textured surfaces.
