Story

The pairing of turquoise and pearls has flourished for countless centuries of adornment. Its use during the Victorian period was prolific often in clusters of small sizes.

Particularly charming and quite colorful, this stylized version of the flower cluster ring puts 15k yellow gold together with the union of six (6) round turquoise cabochons of 3 mm each as petals surrounding a centered natural saltwater half seed pearl.

The cluster is flanked on the sides with six (6) of the luminous pearls — three to a side. The pearls range from 2.5 mm to 3 mm in size.

All the gems are placed in individual modified castellated bezels of gold. Interspersed throughout the top cluster as well as appointing the outside borders of the mounting are small orbs of gold. Turned wire work on the under-gallery adds visual interest as delicate incised patterns decorate the sides of the shank.

Due to the precise system of English hallmarking, we know the exact year of creation at 1873.
