Story
The bombe style ring is named after that delicious French dessert from the late 19th century sometimes referred to as a bombe glacée. It is frozen ice cream or sherbet formed in a spherical mould which resembles a cannonball. One can see the resemblance with the convex curve of both.
Just as scrumptious as the confection, this delight is crafted of cool platinum. Row after row, four to be exact, of square and rectangular cut sapphires with a total 6.06 carats coat the surface. Invisibly set, the forty (40) brilliant blue beauties are snugly placed side by side with not an iota of metal showing. Think of this fabulous ring as a major treat for the palette (palate).
