KRIA has spent the last thirty-five years in the search of new ideas in the creation of Italian jewelry and in dedication to honoring the ancient tradition that masterful Italian craftsmanship has produced. The firm has manufacturing sites located in Vincenza and Milan, Italy.
As is immediately apparent the design of this circa 1990 bracelet shows the re-emergence of jewelry as art form. It is almost as though the boundaries between jewelry as ornament and as sculpture become blurred.
Reminiscent of the gate bracelet of a century past, this Italian interpretation is prodigious in weight and substantial in form. Made solidly of 18k yellow gold, there is not a hollow core among any of its elements. Corner fittings have clearly sculpted lines with vertical accents of rose and white gold in opposition to the horizontal position of the linearity of the sides. A box clasp with external button provides security for the smashing adornment.
