An oval white opal cabochon 9 mm by 7 mm in size and of an estimated 1.6 carats creates a lively visual display of fireworks of red orange, blue, yellow and green flashes set in an 18k yellow gold bezel with a micro-serrated edge. Enclosing the opal and bezel is a modified rectangle of 18k white gold over yellow gold polished to a high sheen. This shine blends in marvelously with the subterranean yellow gold. Accents of four (4) white old mine cut diamonds of an total estimated weight of .12 carats (I-J color; SI1-2 clarity) punctuate the cardinal points on the top of the ring. A sleek well-designed band completes the unique ring.
