Story

The later years of the Art Deco period made a shift to a more horizontal or east west profile. Here we have a good example of a three stone ring of 18k white gold demonstrating that form. Employing the typical combination of diamonds and synthetic sapphires (correct for the period), a trio of white transitional brilliant cut diamonds of an estimated .35 carat total (G-H color; 2 diamonds with VS2 clarity and one with SI3 for clear inclusions only) grace the front of the ring. Each diamond is set within its own “section” with mille graine-like accents. On each side synthetic sapphires faceted and rectangular add that Art Deco dash of color as artfully detailed surface details and a traditional wheat sheaf pattern embellish the sides within an arrow configuration.

Date: Circa 1935.
