A natural sapphire en cabochon stands at the forefront of a 14k yellow gold ring. Classic Art Deco lines and details predominate with geometric forms and fluid engraving. Rising up to the skies like the dome of an Italian basilica, the deep midnight blue sapphire of an estimated 1.6 carats is encased in a hexagonal bezel with textural accents appointing the sides. Two (2) single cut diamonds with an estimated total of .02 carats placed in setting below the surface flank the sapphire. Along the top and bottom decorative elements in the guise of architectural friezes add visual interest.
