Story

There are gemstones which dazzle the eye simply with their brilliance and sparkle; several more visually excite the eye with absolute coloration. A very few fall into the category of gems which have optical properties to engage us hypnotically. Such is the case with the white opal. Almost magically a show of a rich iridescence of color and remarkable play unfolds before our very eyes.

Here a vintage example employs two (2) of these marvelous gems of nature set in a crossover ring of 10k yellow gold. Superior and truly lively, a pair of white opal cabochons of an estimated .75 and .80 carats turns up the intensity with strong neon green flashes and blue lighting bolts.

Providing symmetry of form, two small cultured seed pearls balance the harmony of the composition. Open work shoulders and gentle curves add their touch of femininity to ring which will provide unlimited hours of entertainment.

Date: Circa 1920.
