Story

Delicate and fine craftsmanship show why the Edwardian style is believed to incorporate the most beautiful jewelry ever made. Even a simple ring for the finger uses platinum and diamonds set with an evocative perspective.

The navette shape is perfect for the hand. Configured in such a manner as to elongate the look of the finger, the design is markedly feminine. Soft curves of diamond-set platinum gently enclose an open work panorama of foliate forms and leaves adorned with diamonds.

North and south round bezels of mille grain accented platinum each encompass a sparkling diamond for a harmonious balance of symmetry. In all, eighteen white (18) rose cut and three (3) single cut diamonds of a total estimated .25 carats (I-J color; SI1-2 clarity) add glitter and sophistication to the hand it graces. A slender platinum band completes the feminine look.

Date: Circa 1910.
