Story

This platinum circa 1935 ring illustrates one trend during the period of more east west designs. Showcased in a mount of cool as ice platinum, an old European cut diamond of .64 carats has a near colorless grading of G-H and clarity of VS2.

Beautiful geometric proportions highlight twenty-two (22) transitional cut diamonds of a total estimated .29 carats placed strategically around the main diamond. Elongating the east west positioning even more are six (6) emeralds – a mix of four natural and two synthetic – employing both a deep vivid color and a rectangular channel setting on each side. Subtle detail, fine azuring and a gloriously designed pierced under gallery provides those masterful touches so admired.

The ring is accompanied by an EGL USA certificate for the center stone which was graded in mounting and has a retail replacement value of $4400 for the center stone only.

Date: Circa 1935.
