Story

Sophisticated and dramatic, a transitional round brilliant diamond of a blinding 1.1 carats, near colorless at G-H color and a wonderful value with SI1 clarity can set the standard for just about any social occasion. Diagonal linear strikes of six (6) channel set synthetic sapphires (synthetic gems were typical for this time period) accent each side and also enclose two (2) single cut diamonds each with a border of mille grain work.

In addition, as the shoulder segues toward the shank yet another single cut diamond is encompassed within a modified arrow and shaft configuration engraved with a wheat sheaf pattern. In all, six (6) additional single cut diamonds add a lovely estimated .06 total carats to the 1.1 carat brilliant diamond for a grand 1.16 carats of glamour. A delightful pierced and open work under gallery provides a stylized femininity to a period Art Deco finger ring.

The ring is accompanied by an EGL USA certificate stating that the retail replacement value for only the main diamond is $13,760.

Date: Circa 1935.
