Story

Edwardian jewelry was all about precision and delicacy and this diamond ring is perfect to demonstrate the artistry of that period. One can only imagine the skill and patience required to take a minute saw and literally cut through platinum to make those fine openings that are displayed in this ring.

Mostly hand made with exceptional skill, a modified dome shape ring features a centered old European cut diamond of an estimated .30 carats. Radiating out from the middle in true flower form are eight petals – each set with a rose cut and an old single cut diamond. Interspersed between the scallops is yet another single or rose cut diamond adding its brilliance to an already brilliant panorama of diamonds.

The shoulders of the slender platinum shank are each embellished with two (2) more rose cut diamonds which brings the total to twenty-eight (28) rose and single cut diamonds with an estimated diamond weight of .60 carats. All set in mille grained accented platinum the diamonds are I-K color range and a SI1-2 clarity range. This antique jewel exudes pure ecstasy in the form of platinum and diamonds. One of a kind and we won't have another.

Date: Circa 1910.
