Story

If you have been harboring a desire for a period Art Deco diamond and sapphire ring but were reluctant because of price, this marvelous beauty is the one for you. Impressive on the finger, a transitional cut diamond of an estimated .25 carats (J-K color; SI2 for clear inclusions at the edge) rests within a square bezel of 14k white gold. Creating a sense of expansion, arrowhead shaped sapphires point outwardly from each flank of the centered diamond. The matrix of the ring is a vision of open work rectangles and foliate designs all accented with mille graining. Nice detailing on the sides adds to the visual and textural characteristics of the period finger ring.

Date: Circa 1930.
