Story

This is the first time we at The Three Graces have been able to offer a sterling silver bangle of this style that boasts decorative enamel. Quite wide for the period, the hinged bracelet is appointed with a central plaque outlined in rose gold. A medley of floral and leaf forms both appliquéd and etched into the silver are decorated with the usual cobalt and turquoise blue enamel as well as yellow and rose gold over silver appliqués.

Side panels also sport rose gold borders and foliate designs as well as rectangular silver appliqués of vertical elements embellished with dot engraving. The back has a smooth unobstructed surface of sterling silver. A hidden tongue and groove clasp completes the sterling silver bangle bracelet.

Date: Circa 1900 possibly earlier.
