Story

It all comes down to condition and rarity and in this treasure, you unequivocally have both! Of museum quality (and we rarely use these terms), this particular 20k yellow gold Stuart crystal slide is exceptionally scarce and features four highly coveted skulls with crossed bones. The skulls are connected by a gold vine adorned with tiny flowers and leaves covered with red and green enamel. Delicate details of fine craftsmanship are apparent in the rendering of the gold work.

Within the circular vine is a cypher of 20k yellow gold wire forming intricate initials of what appears to be the letters B, J and possibly E. A faceted rock crystal covers the meticulous composition of mementos. Of particular note is that the crystal has never been removed or disturbed thus its bezel is in superb condition. Each skull and other motifs are still crisp and fine in appearance and color. Clear and glinting, the rock crystal is also still in fine condition. This is most definitely an object for the world famous Victoria and Albert Museum.
