The front is embellished with a centered old European diamond flanked with four (4) natural emeralds in a square setting, a pair for each side. The interior circumference is smooth as silk from a century of embraces.

Date: Circa 1900.

Historical Notes: The Riker Brothers firm was an integral member of the venerated cabal of American jewelry manufacturers located in Newark, New Jersey from the 1800s through to the 1950s. This small city became the core fabricator of the jewelry of the Art Nouveau and Beaux Arts eras and developed into the jewelry manufacturing capital of America. The company has an early history that dates back to 1846. Their pieces are quite sought after and are today highly collectible.
