Story

When the word diamond is spoken we most often think of it in terms of being white (or colorless). Those diamonds which do exhibit color are rare and are held in high esteem. Some colors such as pink, green and blue are found less frequently than other shades.

At the time a colored diamond is certified (as is this fancy diamond) the color which predominates is listed first. In this example, a natural fancy pink brown diamond of a known .97 carats (SI1 clarity) takes center stage. The soft light pink hue with hints of brown is well suited to the feminine platinum mount. Each delicate shoulder is appointed with a flower cluster of seven (7) old single cut diamonds with a total estimated weight of .21 carats. A lightly tapered band completes the ring with its simplicity and form.

This ring comes with an EGL USA certificate for the pink diamond stating it is natural of fancy light pink brown.

Date: Earlier 20th century.
