Story

Dream no more and let reality take over with this delightful circa 1930 example. A scintillating and remarkably white transitional cut diamond of .78 carats sparkles with an F-G color. Graded SI2 clarity due to a minute clear cluster off the center of the table and only visible with magnification.

Luxuriously placed in a square white gold setting of 14k, the central beauty is flanked by vertical lines on each side set with two (2) synthetic emeralds and an old European cut diamond of about .02 carats (which brings the total estimated diamond weight of the ring to .82 carats). Anthemion (palm leaf motif) ornamentation with its radiating forms accents each shoulder. An open work under gallery adds a feminine airiness to the characteristic period geometrics.

Accompanied by a European Gemological Laboratory (EGL) certificate for the main diamond with a retail replacement value of $5620 for the center stone only.

Date: Circa 1930.
