Story

The unexpected horizontal profile of this early Art Deco 14k yellow gold cluster ring just delights the senses. A trio of large old European cut diamonds and two smaller ones form a dramatic linear stripe across the middle of its frilled gold surface.

With a bold sweep of color, a surround of ten (10) vividly green hued emeralds dots the perimeter of the matrix with a gently undulating border. Interspersed among the emeralds are eight (8) additional old European cut diamonds which bring the estimated total diamond weight to .50 carats (H-J color range; VS1-SI1 clarity) yet the placement of the diamonds gives the impression of a great deal more diamond size.

Date: Circa 1920.
