August Extravaganza Sale! Everything 15% Off! Through Thursday.

Story

Here is an exquisite example of the technique of guilloché enamel ornamentation on an 18k yellow gold locket. Striking six-sided configuration and entrancing blue color with white enamel trim set up this Edwardian locket as a true attention grabber. The alluring machine turned pattern is quite hypnotic and draws the eye to the old European cut diamond centrally set. To the reverse the ornate hand engraved script initial “R” is displayed. The interior compartments still retain the rims and original plastic inserts – now slightly yellowed and can be replaced if so desired.

Date: Circa 1900.
