Story

As though freshly picked from a flourishing English garden, this Edwardian period pendant brooch shows its sophisticated side. Delightfully delicate in its 14k yellow gold open work, the use of negative space allows for the perception of a six petal flowerhead in all its glory. Stylized gold stamens and center are set with seven (7) demantoid garnets the color of that coveted vivid green grass hue. Large and small sepal leaves are studded with natural half seed pearls (untested but assumed natural due to age and examination). The reverse reveals the fold-down pendant bale and original brooch fittings.

Date: Circa 1900.
