Story

A ring of distinction fills the air with this vintage diamond engagement ring. Not only that, but the chimes on your pocketbook are tempered by the price point. Sporting the iconoclastic 1940s look of white and yellow gold, this ring has only appreciated since it was created.

Front and center is a sweet transitional cut diamond of an estimated .40 carats (G-H color; VS2 clarity) which is flanked by two (2) single cut diamonds for a total estimated diamond weight of .44 carats for the ring. The diamonds are set into a top of 18k white gold which visually adds to the perceived size of the three stones. The nicely proportioned 14k yellow gold mount shows off lovely chiseled shoulders and a pierced and open under gallery which gently segues into a smooth and silken shank.

Date: Circa 1940.
