Story

Sumptuous presence flashes with noticeable charm in the form of a 14k yellow gold and silver finger ring. Prodigious in size and of a glowing burgundy color, a garnet (pyrope) has been cut en cabochon into an oval gem of about 24 carats. The ring is distinctively designed and dramatically presented with two arches of diamond-set silver enveloping its convex surface. It is set closed backed and foiled beneath for luminous shimmer.

Curvilinear motifs of silver dotting both the surface of the garnet and the shoulders of the mount are encrusted with thirty (30) rose and old mine cut diamonds of an estimated .50 carats. A shank of 14k yellow gold completes the mid-20th century marvel of a ring.

Date: Mid 20th century.
