Story

As the original makers of white gold in American and renown for their attention to detail and artistic setting, the Belais Brother of New York holds a special place for collectors of early 20th century jewelry.

Here is an example of their glory in the guise of an 18k white gold ring. Although the centered old European cut diamond of approximately .10 carats (H-I color; SI1 clarity) is set within the expected octagonal shape, the philosophy of Art Deco stays true to its roots with its square at a 90 degree rotation mount. Palmette forms enclosed within a triangle configuration embellish at each cardinal point are interspersed with four (4) natural sapphires for that burst of color so associated with the period.

Date: Circa 1930.
