Story

The intent to capture the essence of naturalism in jewelry was a part of the early years of the 19th century. Perhaps spurred by on by the previous movement known as Romanticism, the jewelry often displayed a sensuous nuance more reflective of nature than that of the Age of Enlightenment; in other words, the emotional aspect of nature versus the rationality of intellect. This delicate naturalism re-emerged during the Edwardian period and was again revived in the 1950s with work by Jean Fouquet and the houses of Cartier and Van Cleef and Arpels.

This 14k gold bracelet takes on the true sense of naturalistic revival with the use of thirty-seven (37) single cut diamonds (with a total weight of .65 carats) set within 14k white gold botanical expression of a sprig of leaf forms crowned with a lustrous white cultured pearl 6.2 mm in diameter. All placed upon the surface of a 14k yellow gold hinge bangle with box clasp and gold safety chain.
