Story

J .E. Caldwell & Company, an American jewelry retailer located in Philadelphia since the mid 19th century was well known as a purveyor of Art Nouveau and Art Deco jewels and of luxury goods.

Following the dictates of the Art Deco movement, an 18k yellow gold band has been set with an old European cut diamond of about .65 carats (J-K color; VS2-SI1 clarity) within an octahedron mount of platinum accented with mille grain detail. Flanking the stone on both sides are three arrow shaped platinum inlays which extend from the bezel to the shoulders of the gradually tapering shank to create an exceedingly handsome and august ring for a gentleman that is also suitable for a woman. Signed and numbered by J. E. Caldwell & Co.
