Story

The filigree mount was popularized in the earlier 20th century. Open work and intricate lace like filaments of metal and surface pattern make for a sturdy yet ethereal lightness for the eye. Here it is set with a heavenly rectangular faceted aquamarine of approximately 6 carats. The soft and subtle hue combines well with the delicate look of the metal. Appointed well, each side has a "V" form, tiny flowers and the gallery has two lotus blossoms on each side, inspired from the Egyptian influences of the Art Deco period.
