Story

The style of ring known as the flowerhead or cluster ring has spanned the centuries. Newman’s “An Illustrated Dictionary of Jewelry” defines the cluster rings as “a type of finger ring embellished with several gemstones in the form of one large central stone framed by a number of smaller ones.”

This assemblage of gems creates an illusion of a much more impressive or larger ring than the actual weight would indicate. Here we have an old European cut diamond with J-K color and SI1 clarity surrounded by smaller diamonds for a total estimated carat weight of 1.20 carats. The diamonds are set in white gold of 14 carat and the mount is of 14k yellow gold. A lovely ring for a gracious feminine look.
