Story

In the poem, "Khubla Khan" Samuel Taylor Coleridge certainly had the imagery right: "In a stately pleasure dome decree...” He just did not have the ring to go with it. You, however do with this must have ring of superb natural rubies that dance about the dome in mazy motion. The colors enchant as they tremble with hues of red to pink.

Next to the rubies a lush bed of brilliant cut diamonds all set into 18k yellow gold meander through a valley as rivulets. The base of palladium (a rare metal, not often used in jewelry similar in look to platinum) is an artful choice and could not be more striking. Intermittent light shimmers forth from two side accent diamonds as well.

Floating midway upon the dome are 18 older cut rubies for total estimated weight of 6.5 carats. In addition, the rare device holds seventy-two (72) diamonds, a mix of old European, single and brilliant cuts for a total estimated diamond weight of 2.6 carats.
