Story

Tanzanite is a relatively newly discovered gem (1967) mined only from the hills of the state of Tanzania in East Africa. This tantalizing stone was hailed as “the gemstone of the twentieth century”. No wonder as its deep blue color which can range from blue-violet to ultramarine blue with hints of purple.

A magnetic 1.0 carat oval tanzanite draws you in with its enticing blue-violet color prong set within a marvelous mount of 18k white gold. The saturation of color immersed against a “background” of forty-six round brilliant diamonds (with a total estimated diamond weight of 1 carat) creates an unbelievable chromatic for the tanzanite gem.

Diamonds galore in bands crisscrossed and capturing the magical stone with a diamond-studded embrace. Only this seamlessly transition from diamond encrusted shoulders to a gently tapering band does justice to such an open and pierced mount.
