Riker designed jewelry has an early history dating to 1846. Their pieces are sought after and remain highly collectible today.
One of the integral members of the Newark jewelry manufacturing cabal, Riker Bros. was one of the very few Art Nouveau-era houses to employ plique-à-jour enamel as well as creating a full line of platinum and gold jewelry.
Such realistic rendering reflects the level of craftsmanship used in the construction of these marvelous flower pendant brooches. Polychromatic enamels, including white, yellow and green enfold an old European cut diamond of .18 carats (H-I color; SI2-3 clarity).
To the reverse an ingenious fold-down bale joins the original brooch fittings of the mount…all in 14k yellow gold.
