From the famed Yogo Gulch mine, these unheated, (no-heat) Montana sapphires burst with cornflower hues pricked with azure, royal, and near ice-white blues.
Between these gemstones are natural freshwater pearls and all by Krementz & Co. formerly of Newark, N.J.
From around 1900, the heyday of these intense sapphires spanned for only a short few decades. The mine's production began in 1895 and most of its sapphires are found in jewelry from around 1900 to about the 1920s. Traditionally these gemstones are also small in size, rarely even reaching a carat in size, but maximum in color and presence.
Just ask for a free conversion to a pendant at no charge. The pin can be removed or left intact.
Guarantee: These have been examined by three gemologists and guaranteed as Yogo Gulch Montana sapphires.
Note: Interesting fact! Yogo Gulch mined sapphires are vibrant blue and characteristically clean and clear of most inclusions and thus were almost never heated to enhance these qualities.
