Resembling a snowflake, this black dot paste cross pendant remains a fine example of its type and in 18k rose gold.
Many crosses of this type were constructed in silver, so a scarce example and in fine condition with all original paste stones.
Each black dot paste is cut in the round, in old mine shapes, except the most significant bottom, a pear or teardrop.
Five deep domes of gold hold the main pastes and at their base, serrated raised gold borders add their visual touch. All are set into closed backs, likely with foil beneath. All are white and bright, alluring with their presence.
The original pendant fitting is still intact and the overall cross shape, with its ice-like patterns around the smaller pastes, lends a refined air to the pendant.
