SPECIAL MARKDOWN! Superb value.
Six pieces in 20 years...yes we have only been able to offer that many authentic examples of suffragette jewelry, or about one every 3 1/2 years since our inception. (Despite ardent searching).
Therefore, we take great pride in bringing another piece to light emblazoned with the colors of the women's right to vote, green, white and purple.
According to research, these colors symbolized white for purity, green for hope, and dignity as purple.* It is difficult to fathom that only since 1920 in the US, and in the UK only since 1928, have women been allowed to cast their vote.
Sculpted in 15k yellow gold, this petite brooch brings together enamel, diamonds, natural pearls, and an amethyst for its exquisite design.
Symmetrical and harmonious, gold dots peak through pristine white enamel. Four natural pearls cap the cardinal points. Four three-leaf lucky clovers are topped with translucent grass green enamel over guilloche metal. Four tiny old mine cut diamonds are centered within the leaves.
As the focal point, a round, regal amethyst radiates its passionate hues.
