This opal cabochon has intense and powerfully expressive coloration with all the vivid hues of the spectrum including that ever elusive and coveted red along with orange, blue, purple and green. There are areas of darker blue or purple which dramatically come alive with a simple twist or move. The final feature is the presence of the color red which against a black background is radiance incarnate.
No need for more, this miniature symphony of light is claw set into a simple mount of 18k white gold and accented on the sides with a pair of marquise diamonds with a total estimated weight of .20 carats with I-J color and VS2-SI1 clarity.
