Edwardian Sapphire Pearl Diamond Necklace
A most smashing pendant necklace displays its fantastic Edwardian roots of style with platinum, gold, diamonds, sapphires, pearls and enamel. A provocative “V” shape is formed of five white enamel covered rectangular plaques of 18k yellow gold. Centered on each plaque is a round faceted non-heat treated natural sapphire in a gold collet. All corners of the rectangles are embellished with natural saltwater pearls with a drop of three pearls at the inverse apex.
From a chain of platinum links a pearl and sapphire studded “ship’s wheel” of white enamel covered gold is suspended three lengths of pearl set platinum links with attached to the ends of the “V” form and the central one with a six petal old European cut diamond and oval faceted sapphire flowerhead. In all, seven (7) very fine non-heat treated natural sapphires, six (6) old European cut diamonds and twenty-eight (28) natural saltwater pearls (untested but guaranteed to be natural) combine to create truly a one of a kind pendant necklace.
