Exquisite No Heat Sapphire Diamond Ring
This late Edwardian early Art Deco ring deserves not one but two double takes. Handmade of platinum, the piece is magnificent in every dimension. The focal point is a no heat natural sapphire deeply cut en cabochon of an approximate 4.4 carats. Of an intense blue, the stone exhibits good highlights and lighter blue tones and is the perfect foil to the surround of old European, old rose and old single cut diamonds. Shoulders set with three rows of diamonds which segue into an silken platinum band give forth to an exquisite ring not pretentious in size yet one which clearly displays it fine craftsmanship at one glance. In all, an estimated total diamond weight of .50 carats embraces the 4.4 carat sapphire.

Comes with a laboratory certificate stating the sapphire shows no evidence of heat treatment.
Measurements: ½ of an inch (1.2 cm) in length north to south on the finger by 7/16 of an inch (1.1 cm) in width. Weight of 4.5 grams (2.9 dwt).
