Georgian Fruit - Almandine Garnet Earrings
Two part pendant earrings from the late Georgian era display a penchant for naturalism. As surmount a trefoil of claret colored teardrop almandine garnets are set closed back in 10k yellow gold. Suspended from the surmount is a series of articulated textured yellow gold leaves and closed back almandine garnets emulating a sensuous vine bearing fruit and leaves.
Measurements: 1-3/4 of an inch (4.3 cm) in length by 7/16 of an inch (1.1 cm) at widest point. Weight of 5.2 grams (3.3 dwt) for the pair.
