Early Victorian Ring
A darling early Victorian cluster ring is rendered in 10k yellow gold. Around a pink sapphire center six (6) turquoise cabochons form a flower cluster. The shoulders are each accented with a petite turquoise cabochon set within an engraved flowerhead design. The reverse reveals a glass covered locket now deficient of contents.
Date: 1850.
Measurements: 7/8 of an inch (1.2 cm) in width. Weight of 1.7 grams (1.1 dwt).
Ring Size: US 7-1/2 (UK O-1/2; Euro or Int. Circum. 55.7 mm; Int. Dia. 17.7 mm; Japan 15) and easily can be sized to fit most. Ring sizing information.
Condition: Good; evidence of previous resizing visible upon very close inspection or with magnification; small traces of silver solder to underside. Locket glass, now cracked and empty may have contained hair. We can remove this if desired. Our price reflects its gently worn condition.
