Raymond Yard Sapphire Diamond Ring
In 1922 Raymond Yard Inc. opened in New York City a preeminent jewelry house which continues to serve an exclusive clientele to this day. With the same panache used to design those magnificent jewels of the 1920s and 1930s, platinum, diamonds and sapphires display a style and sophistication few other jewelry houses can deliver.
Recipe for success: two (2) natural trapezoid cut natural sapphires combine with one square cut for a total estimated sapphire weight of .60 carats. Add a healthy dose of twenty-two (22) single cut diamonds with a total estimated diamond weight of 1.1 carats (H-J color range; VS2-SI1 clarity). Place all in a delicious mount of platinum and voilà…no baking is required.
Date: Circa 1965.
Measurements: 13/16 of an inch (2.0 cm) in length north to south of the finger 7/ 16 of an inch (1.1 cm) in width. Weight of 6.6 grams (4.2 dwt).
Ring Size: US 6-1/4 (UK over an M; Euro or Int. Circum 52 mm; Int. Dia. 16.7 mm; Japan over a 12) and easily can be sized to fit most. Ring sizing information.

Condition: Excellent; faint evidence of previous resizing visible with magnification; slight edge wear to facets of sapphires evident only with a loupe.
