Edwardian Garden: Antique Diamond Ruby Ring
A broad expanse of 18k yellow gold is colorfully adorned with a double row of alternating diamonds and rubies. The gemstones include an array of five (5) old European and old mine cut diamonds for a estimated total diamond weight of .50 carats and five (5) round natural rubies with an estimated weight of .65 carats. Nicely detailed shoulders feature a subtle scroll and crown design.
Date: Circa 1903.
Measurements: 3/8 of an inch (1 cm) in length north to south on the hand and rises just 3/16 of an inch (0.4 cm) in height off the finger. Weight of 5.3 grams (3.5 dwt).
Ring Size: US 6 (UK M; Euro or Int. Circum. 51.5 mm; Japan 12; Int. Dia. 16.5) and easily can be sized to fit most. Ring sizing information.
Hallmarks: Full set of English hallmarks for 18k, Birmingham and a date letter for 1903.
Condition: Very good; ring has been expertly reshanked.
