Late Art Deco Aquamarine Diamond Earrings
Cool as an evening breeze, this pair of late Art Deco 18k white gold earrings can ease you from a day at the office to an evening of pure joy. The surmount is the familiar octagon set with a deep old European cut diamond which suspends a rectangular diamond baguette. An emerald cut natural aquamarine (one an estimated 4.2 carats; the other about 3.6 carats), jacketed with a white gold bezel prominently dangles with abandon. Each earring has a total estimated diamond weight of .28 carats (.56 carats for the pair).
Date: Circa 1935.
Measurements: 1 inch (2.4 cm) in length by 3/8 of an inch (1 cm) at the widest. Weight of 7.6 grams (4.9 dwt) for the pair.
Condition: Excellent; later post ear fittings.
