Graduated in size from 6.5 mm to more than 9 mm, eleven (11) oval garnets with an estimated total weight of 15 carats create a meandering trail of gems the color of deep cinnamon with flashing highlights. Set in a complimentary 9k yellow gold, the oval stones are very vibrant with expressive life.
Date: Circa 1900.
Measurements: 6-1/4 inches (15.7 cm) in length by 3/8 of an inch (0.9 cm) at the widest. Weight of 8.5 grams (5.5 dwt).
Condition: Excellent; two of the claws are short; a few tiny bits of surface wear to several stones; some reinforcement to the attachment points of row of garnets to chain.
Note: Stones have not been removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the setting. Gemstone weights have been approximated by measurement and formula and may vary from actual weights.
