Galaxy of Blue Moonstone Bracelet
Creating a galaxy around your wrist, five (5) blue moonstone cut en cabochon float within a golden ring of 10k yellow gold. Joined by alternating elongated oval and circular links, the bracelet drapes virtually weightlessly. Each of the round moonstones has a weight of about 2.0 to 2.5 carats which brings the total estimated weight of the ethereal blue stones to 10 to 12 carats.
Date: Mid 20th century.
Measurements: 8 inches (20 cm) in length by 1/2 of an inch (1.2 cm) in width. Weight of 13.0 grams (8.3 dwt).
Condition: Excellent; gold-filled safety chain; all moonstones have light surface wear if viewed with magnification.
Note: Stones have not been removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the setting. All diamond and gemstone weights have been approximated by measurement and formula and may vary from actual weights.
