Art Deco Onyx Diamond Ring
Smartly designed, this Art Deco 14k white gold ring has an elongated octagonal face of shiny black onyx. Inset within the onyx is a lozenge configuration of white gold and set with a .10 carat transitional cut diamond. The open and pierced under gallery resembles a garden trellis replete with a floral design motif.
Measurements: 11/16 of an inch (1.7 cm) in length north to south on the hand by 1/2 of an inch (1.25 cm) in width and rises 5/16 of an inch (.07 cm) in height from the hand. Weight of 3.3 grams (2.1 dwt).
Ring Size: US 4-1/2 (UK I; Euro 15.25; 48 mm) and can be easily sized. Ring sizing information.
Hallmarks: 14k; MA.
Condition: Very good; bezel around the onyx has a few minor dimples visible with very close inspection or with magnification; evidence of an old resizing visible with a loupe.
Date & Origin: Circa 1930 and is American in origin.
