Art Nouveau Foo Dog Cufflinks
Guardians of the temple, these Art Nouveau American-made 14k yellow gold cuff links are stylized with flair. The fangs of the foo dog rest upon a large smooth and solid shield. Inspired by the Chinese, this motif has been used for centuries to guard temples and buildings. Here the image is in relief with a dark patina background and the period typical bean backs that connects the sleeve cuffs.
